Workflow Administrator

We set the Workflow Administrator to System Administrator, but the Workflow Administrator could not vew all employees' workflows.  What value should be here so that the workflow Administrator can view everyone's workflows?

Hi Ann - if you are accessing Status Monitor via System Administrator responsibility you should be able to see all workflows with the value set to System Administrator.

If you are accessing via responsibility Workflow Admin, then you need to set that value to an asterik (*).

Thanks, Lisa, but if you set it to *, it allows all to view all.  System Administrator only works if you have system administrator responsibility which will not work in most environments.  I think I have figured it out, but assigning it to another responsibility.

Does anyone know why a user getting the below error when click on workflow list on the main page to review the item.

Unexpected Error: Please contact the System Administrator for assistance.

Thanks

Here is the exact error when click on work list item on the main Oracle page:

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance.

Following DML will resolve the issue -

update wf_resources   set text = '*' where name = 'WF_ADMIN_ROLE';

I am getting a different issue with Workflow. When the Manager approves the AP invoice and the invoice is finally approved, a notification should be received by the requestor who has created the invoice, then only he can proceed with payment etc.,

As of now it doesn't happen. We are 12.1.1. Can anybody help.

Hello Parasuraman,

Did you put a check on the status of Notification mailer?

Thanks,

Ashutosh

I have not put any check on the status of Notification mailer.

Where do we change configure the person to whom the final FYI should go after the document  is finally approved by approver.

Thanks

Parasuraman
