Hi,
i am just doing the setup and uat for Advanced Collection - just on a very low level - only Dunning Plans.
I am able to create everthing, i can see the Dunning letters in the Collector Workbench (Correspondence, History).
But i am not able to find a way to print the whole bulk in one shot - Oracle is telling me, that i have to go to each single Customer and print it manual ..... !
I can't believe that is true - do you have a solution for me ?
kind regards
joerg

Hi,
Oracle was wrong - it was a missing profile options entry - now i can start IEX: Sent dunning letter ... and than Print it out in one single shot.

In the Collections UI, within the Tasks Tab, does anyone know how date types(Planned/Scheduled/Actual) work and how the tasks show up in the UWQ? What is the difference between each selection?
If you know, please respond to this post.
Thanks,
Sunny

All the status will show under the same node Task. When u open the task the status will show it is planned or scheduled or actual. Node does not differentiate the staus.
The selection has meaning only if there is a assignment to it which show up as a active task if the date matches.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Sarathy. This does help.
One of the things the our Collections team was looking at was setting alerts (via email) when a scheduled/planned task date is hit.
Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible, It requires some co ordination of DBA's and a technical guy with few functional input. I am pretty sure it works well.

Ok, I will do so.
I also had one more major question:
How can I populate the (FIRST/LAST name, Email, and phone #) fields in the Collections user interface with the primary contact info? Everytime I search for an organization, those fields remain empty and I individually have to select a person from that organization to get the remaining information. We would like it to automatically populate those fields with the primary contact information.
Thanks in advance,
Sunny
Can you highlight the advantages of implementing Advance Collection R12 module? Does it provide the functionality on Disputes? Are there any other shortcomings?
Thanks Vinay
